The Adtran NetVanta 1234 switch is an Ethernet switch designed to be affordable. As a fully managed switch, the switch offers multiple configurations for layer 2 networking applications. The 1700594G1 is a standards-based switch that utilizes both command line interface and web based GUI configurations. The 1700594G1 can be segmented through up to 255 VLANs. The NetVanta 1234 is a Fast Ethernet switch, offering speeds of 10/100 on 24 ports. In addition, the NetVanta 1234 (1700594G1) has two SFP GBIC slots for fiber connections at speeds up to 1Gbps.
