he Cisco Expandable Power System (XPS) 2200 is the next-generation redundant power system (RPS). In addition to the traditional RPS functionality, the Cisco XPS 2200 provides enhanced services with support for Cisco StackPower technology. When used with Cisco Catalyst 3560-X Series Switches, it provides RPS functionality, but when used with Cisco Catalyst 3750-X Series Switches, it provides StackPower functionality to all the stack members, including power supply redundancy.The Cisco XPS 2200 supports dual redundant power supplies and fans. Up to nine switches can be connected to the Cisco XPS 2200.
